Bicycle ride will benefit new nonprofit
Start the cycling season by participating in this fun, well-organized ride to benefit the Asthma and COPD Education Center (ACEC). ACEC is a new nonprofit dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of those with asthma and COPD through direct services to all Kern County residents.
The ride begins and ends at California State University, Bakersfield.
The ride will include a Century (100 miles), a Metric Century (62 miles), a 40 mile ride and a 20 mile ride. Families are encouraged to participate. Lunch will be provided for by Big Dan the BBQ Man and a festival with music, a raffle, vendors and activities will round out the event.
